Biofoam is a MDI blank made by HomeBlown and is considered to be a "green" product. In the cake mix that makes up a polyurethane blank, about 50% of the cake mix ingredients are from agricultural products. This new Biofoam™ blank takes advantage of new chemistries in which the biomaterials are converted from natural plant oils into materials that provide functionality beyond petrochemicals at a similar cost.
The 6’2” blank was designed for hand shaping high performance short boards. While a standard 64R rocker can accommodate most shapes custom rockers are available. Good for boards 5’8” to 6’1”. A little more tail thickness will allow for tail rocker adjustments and different bottom contours.
