EPS Blanks

EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam are formed in billets (large rectangular cubes) then hotwired to specific rockers and thicknesses to make the surfboard blanks. EPS foam can only be glassed with Epoxy resin, if Polyester resin is used it will destroy the EPS foam. The blanks are manufatured by White Hot Foam (EPS). Since the EPS Slabs are cut from large billets and have only the rocker and thicknesses cut into them, they need more work than the molded blanks to finish out.
